API moved to OVHcloud in Canada
The API and its database now run on OVHcloud servers in Québec (Beauharnois), with encrypted backups in Ontario (Toronto). Our former provider keeps a copy until it is deleted, no later than November 13, 2026.
Pro keeps VAT consultation numbers for 10 years
Up from 7 years. Records already written on Pro were extended too.
VAT audit trail retention by plan
Consultation numbers are kept 30 days on Free, 1 year on Starter and 3 years on Growth. Each record keeps the window of the plan you were on when the check was made, so downgrading never shortens evidence you already collected.
Try it without an account
The homepage runs real VAT, IBAN, email and phone checks against live registries, at the same STANDARD depth as the free plan.
VIES availability, measured
A public page with live and 30-day availability for every member state's VAT registry, sampled every five minutes.
